    • Natural Areas Conservancy | Wetlands Restoration Designer | New York, NY
    • Designed nature-based coastal infrastructure to support New York City’s resiliency initiatives.
      • Developed portfolio of coastal wetland concept plans for the Parks Natural Resources Group. Each design served as a stand-alone planning tool while the set of designs together helped generate a strategy for citywide wetland restoration. Designs were data driven and community based, maximizing the role of the site within its ecological context while responding to the needs of the community.
      • Primary designer for Sunset Cove, a coastal habitat restoration in Jamaica Bay. Design included NY Rising-funded boardwalk and oyster cove, incorporating input from the community and a diversity of stakeholders.

    • Managed and reported on the Chapter’s finances, ensuring financial accountability to 500 + members.

    • Designed infiltration and detention-based green infrastructure projects.
      • Served as the interagency rep, reviewing all construction drawings and plans that impacted Parks’ greenstreets and bioswales.
      • Managed a multi-block bioswale contract adjacent to the Bronx River, within the Hunts Point sewershed.
      • Oversaw all geotechnical work for the Unit, totaling $11.8M in contract funding
      • Lead the development of green infrastructure maintenance protocols and hosted maintenance training sessions for Parks crews.
      • Helped track fiscal year funding and created metrics to continually monitor and report on the performance of green infrastructure implementation. Metrics informed development of new green infrastructure methods, targeted within the right-of-way, coastal inundation zones, and parkland areas of DEP priority sewersheds.
